Ebony Ivory, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was established in 1996 by a group of concerned Wal-Mart Distribution Center co-workers who provided financial support for an exceptional academic student who desired a college education but lacked funding because of economic status.   This act of compassion served as the springboard and catalyst for assisting and encouraging outstanding under served students who are economically challenged in completing their college education.

The mission of Ebony Ivory, Inc. is to provide academic assistance and direction to economically challenged students who are at-risk of earning a higher education because of a lack of initial funding. The primary focus of Ebony Ivory, Inc. is to formulate a system for annually awarding these students for academic and special related achievements and to help identify scholarship sources other than those given by the corporation.
